Beautiful scenery at Ninnaji Temple,
a Buddhist Temple founded in 888 AD.

Ninnaji Temple is a Buddhist temple in north-west Kyoto that is deeply related with the Imperial Family of Japan.
The temple is especially famous for its Omuro Sakura cherry trees which are the latest blooming cherries in the whole of Kyoto.

* Outside of cherry blossom blooming season, admission fee is free.
* A separate admission fee will be charged for visiting the Goten, Reiho-kan, Tea room.
Cherry blossom season admission (Admission: 8:00a.m.-5:00 p.m)
During the cherry blossom season, there is an admission fee you need to pay to enter the area after the Chumon inner gate to see the beautiful Omuro Sakura cherry blossoms. The period when cherry blossom season admission fee is required changes depending on when the cherries are in full bloom.
The cherry blossom season admission fees will be used for the preservation of the Omuro Sakura.
